We offer a pre-planned maintenance programme to routinely carry out any descaling works, grease removal or other substances that may be the cause of blockages. We will ensure your site is regularly maintained so that the drainage is kept free flowing.
The MRM drainage section runs the NHS contract at King’s College Hospital in London. This includes servicing the requirements for the Boroughs of Islington and Tower Hamlets, including pre-planned works, day-to-day maintenance and a 24 hour emergency call-out for many aged and vulnerable tenants.
80 Strand in London is a prestigious building in which maintenance had been long neglected and additional drainage was required as well. We arranged for an intrusive survey of the building and its basements. We were then fundamentally involved in the design of a new drainage installation and the upgrading of existing drainage systems. we are now forming part of a PPM regime.
Our
highly trained operatives can also carry out root cutting works on
drainage and clear any concrete, scale, grease and debris build-ups that
may occur within the pipework using their electro mechanical rotary
machines.
We are able to conduct complete CCTV surveys with the latest technological equipment allowing us to inspect from manholes, gullies, stack pipes, toilet pans and more. Ranging from 50mm-900mm pipework, the survey is processed to enable us to supply a DVD to the client. CCTV surveys may be used to investigate recurring blockages, long-term issues and potential collapsed drains. The average CCTV survey will be completed within two hours; we can also carry out full site surveys.
We can excavate and remedy any drainage problem such as broken pipework and manhole chamber reconstruction. We use specialist equipment to enable us to remedy residential, commercial and agricultural problems from point of connection to the main sewers. Our trained operatives can excavate, remove and replace drain covers and broken pipework. Using ‘Sonde’ location equipment we can pinpoint hidden chambers in order to uncover buried sections of pipework and manholes.
We can carry out drain repairs where excavating is not possible or feasible. As a ‘Renoline’ approved contractor we are able to cast a resin sleeve through existing defective drains and pipe systems. This can be used on pipework that is disjointed or cracked to prevent further leaks and blockages. We also carry out patch liner repairs which enable small areas to be repaired between manholes or stacks, repairing only the small damaged section. Ranging from 100-300mm diameter drainage, we can supply and install drain liners to get the drainage flowing again, rectifying any possible faults within the section of drainage the liner is applied to.
We use specialist vacuum tanker lorries designed to suck out debris from gullies, manholes, grease traps, soakaways and much more. When used in conjunction with our high pressure water jetting equipment we are able to resolve almost any blockage, the level of pressure the vacuum tanker lorries utilise will almost assuredly extract even the largest causes of blockage.
Vacuum tanker lorries can also suck up flood water and aid in carrying out CCTV surveys on submerged pipework by emptying the affected area prior to works. Vacuum tankers can be used on a reactive basis and also as part of pre-planned maintenance works.
We offer a pre-planned maintenance programme to routinely carry out any descaling works, grease removal or other substances that may be the cause of blockages. We will ensure your site is regularly maintained so that drainage is kept free flowing. All pipework and drainage is susceptible to blockages, so we provide programmes to ensure the flow of your site. This can include flushing through pipework, descaling and root cutting. We provide a free of charge site inspection to assess the requirements of your proposed maintenance, determining how regularly maintenance visits will be required and giving a cost estimation.
