MRM was established in 2017 and we offer the full range of services within the construction industry.

MRM FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

We are able to provide the full range of mechanical services including validation, removal and installation. We can also deal with a wide range of complex building requirements, ranging from base build, internal decoration, plumbing, electrics, roofing & ventilation to the highest standards.

The key personnel boast in excess of 100 years’ experience in their particular specialist fields. MRM was formed with a view to further develop relationships with our existing clients and to use these skills and expertise within the various fields in the construction of new builds and the conversion of existing properties to residential usage.

MARTIN MORGAN
MANAGING DIRECTOR

Martin has worked within the construction industry for over 20 years managing projects ranging in value from £10k to over £1 million.

Projects include all phased building works for clients including offices, hotels, hospitals and reception areas and is a specialist in air conditioning and heating systems.
His commitment to building lasting relationships with clients is a major foundation to his success.

RAY SMITH
DIRECTOR - MECHANICAL DIVISION

Ray has managed mechanical shell and core systems for over 25 years, running projects ranging in value from £60k to over £7.7m.
Projects include heating and air conditioning systems, decommissioning and removal of chiller systems, major pipe fitting, both in occupied and unoccupied buildings.

He manages a team of 8 and puts his success down to hard work, teamwork and having a hands on approach to managing major projects.

MARTIN SMITH
DIRECTOR - BUILDING DIVISION

Martin runs a high profile maintenance contract for MRM in an Islington Council Partnership.

He looks after a dedicated team of highly skilled operatives. They deal with proactive and reactive building requirements in a range of properties from council flats to Listed and Heritage properties. This involves the programming of works in occupied and unoccupied residences working on tight programmes and delivering unparalleled success.

JAMES RICHARDS
PROJECT MANAGER - DRAINAGE

James co-ordinates the MRM drainage section. He runs the NHS contract at King’s College Hospital. This includes servicing the requirements for the Boroughs of Islington and Tower Hamlets, including pre-planned works, day-to-day maintenance and a 24 hour emergency call-out for many aged and vulnerable tenants.

80 Strand is a prestigious building in which maintenance had been long neglected and additional drainage was required as well. James arranged for an intrusive survey of the building and its basements. He was then fundamentally involved in the design of a new drainage installation and the upgrading of existing drainage systems. He is now forming part of a PPM regime.

DARREN KEMP
PROJECT MANAGER

Darren is the co-ordinator for the day-to-day maintenance, reactive works and project building requirements. These include the refurbishment of void properties, listed properties and occupied residences for the London Borough of Islington.

Darren is a vastly experienced project manager and has a dedicated team of experienced operatives installing, maintaining and repairing a range of properties managed by Rydon on behalf of the London Borough of Islington.

He is the co-ordinator with Rydon for scheduling work, liasing with tenants and Rydon management.

MICK REED
PROJECT MANAGER - BUILDINGS

Mick has managed property conversion, rebuilding and refurbishment works for over 25 years, running projects in value up to £1.5m.

Projects include removal and installation of plant room chillers, major West End retail refurbishments, renovating derelict buildings and always has a hands on approach.

Mick recently managed a project at East India House, Devonshire Square, which involved the craning in and connecting of a temporary chiller and connecting mechanically and electrically.
