VICTORIA HOUSE, SOUTHAMPTON ROW
MRM were called out to establish the cause of leaks from the pavement. We surveyed the pavements and established that we had to install new pavement glass.

VRM AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM

MRM managed the installation of a modern VRM air conditioning system, removing the old fan coil cooling sytem, put in accredited fire stopping and new accessible celings, all while the hotel was still in operation.

MRM carried out pre-planned and general maintenance and installed a completely new drainage system.

WATERPROOF ROOFING

NEXUS HOUSE, FARRINGDON ROAD
We installed a brand new, insurance-backed waterproof roofing system in this newly rebuilt landmark with its 14 floors of sustainable and tech friendly office space totalling 157,843 sq ft in the hub of the vibrant, diverse and transformational area of Farringdon, London.

PLANT ROOM CHILLER INSTALLATIONS

EAST INDIA HOUSE

East India House is part of Devonshire Square Estate. On the 5th floor plant room 3 x chillers were found to be beyond repair. We managed a project which involved the craning in and connecting of a temporary chiller and connecting mechanically and electrically.

We then arranged the dismantling of the 3 chillers, the removal of a concrete roof and the install of steels to support. We then organised the craning in of 3 new chillers, connected and commissioned. All was completed without losing services to occupied offices and Coventry University.


BOOSTED COLD WATER SYSTEM

ST KATHERINE DOCKS

Ray managed the installation of a new boosted cold water system to increase water pressure to a desired level. Whilst installing this system, a long-standing Legionella problem was eradicated. We decommissioned the air conditioning and electrics temporarily, installed guaranteed roofing system and installed a new drainage system to prevent pooling of water on the roof. Then reinstated air conditioning, electrics and removed the the scaffolding. All was completed on programme and to budget in an occupied building housing 3,500 occupants with the majority of works taking place in occupied tenant areas.

EMERGENCY GENERATOR 

TIMES SQUARE, 160 VICTORIA STREET, LONDON EC4

Times Square is a 380,000 sq ft office building at 160-162 Queen Victoria Street is fully let to six office tenants, including Bank of New York Mellon and law firm Dechert.

MRM Construction recently completed  the installation of an emergency generator for the whole building, designed to allow the full functioning of the building in the event of a major incident, enabling power to continue uninterrupted for up to 3 hours.

The full works include all pipe work, cooling systems, controls and building management systems and were completed on time and to budget on behalf of Blackstone.

GLASS PARTITIONED MAIN RECEPTION

EALING HOSPITAL

We managed the construction of a modern glass-partitioned main reception for NHS Ealing Hospital in conjunction with the Ealing Health Trust.

We also supervised the phased installation of power throughout the hospital including all wards operating theatres to allow the introduction of a new computerised patient profile system.

SHELL & CORE SERVICES

UBS BUILDING, 5 BROADGATE CIRCLE, LONDON

We managed the shell and core services for 5 Broadgate Circle in the City of London, overseeing the installation of plant and modulated pipework to one of the biggest office buildings in Europe.

The works included all plant rooms in sub basement, all plant on the roof with all riser pipework linking the two with a value £7.7million.

KING’S YARD ENERGY CENTRe

Olympic Park & Westfield Centre, Stratford

We were Project Managers for the installation of the King’s Yard Energy Centre which supplies power to the Olympic Park and Westfield Shopping Centre in Stratford.

This is the largest decentralised energy scheme to be built in the UK and makes a key contribution to the Park meeting its zero carbon ambitions. Developments around the Park are also able to connect their buildings to the network and benefit from this efficient energy.
